I'm Oriana.

I'm a visual artist and an early childhood educator, and to me they're the same craft: putting a color and a name to what we feel. I draw girls who carry an emotion — calm, nostalgia, joy, the anxiety humming underneath — because naming what we feel is the first way of caring for it. Venezuelan and far from home, I paint from this side of the map with my heart on the other.
